I began working at ECMS in February
1996. My primary duties are to schedule classes that come to the lab and to
help students with their lab assignments. Other duties include computer
maintenance and minor troubleshooting in the lab and classrooms and assisting
teachers with integrating technology. I also manage the school website and create
the school yearbook. One of the most enjoyable things I get
to do is work with students in the Student Technology Leadership Program to
help them learn more about technology and how to use it to enhance learning and
life. We have a Morning Announcement team and Yearbook Staff. Education/Work Experience: I graduated in the ECHS Class of
1974 with a business certificate and attended two years at WKU. My previous work experience has been
clerical work for businesses in Edmonson County, Bowling Green, KY, and Atlanta, GA. |

Home & Family: My husband Dennis and I have a farm in
the Sunfish community where we raise beef cattle. I do bookkeeping for
our business, Durbin Masonry. Our children
are: Jeremy
(ECHS Class of 2000) and his wife Shannon (Vantrease) Beth (ECHS Class of 2001
& WKU Class of 2005-BA in Public Relations) Emily Anne
(ECHS Class of 2003 & WKU Class of 2008-BA in Accounting) Ethan (ECHS Class of 2007
& WKU Class of 2012). Patrycja – Exchange daughter from
Poland Victoria – Exchange daughter from
Germany Olivia our dachshund Personal Interests: I enjoy photography, scrapbooking, flower
gardening, hiking and travel every chance I get. I have spent a lot of
time volunteering in our schools and I love to read when I have time. In
our community I am active with the Edmonson County Farm Bureau Women’s
Committee and Leadership Edmonson County. |
